Advanced RAW processing and editing for pro photographers
Olympus Workspace meets all the needs of photographers including versatile editing functions such as RAW processing using parameters set during shooting, convenient batch processing for multiple images, and customisable functions.

Rotate/reverse, trimming/tilt correction, exposure compensation, white balance, colour correction (colour saturation, brightness, hue), Clarity, Dehaze, tone curve (level correction), Highlight & Shadow, contrast, colour saturation, tone correction, Art Filter, colour filters, shading correction, distortion correction, Fisheye Compensation, Keystone Compensation, sharpness, unsharp mask, red eye correction, video editing (combine, cut, extract)
- A 64-bit OS and 4 GB or more of memory are required for High Res Shot RAW processing.
- Some parameters cannot be applied during RAW processing.
- RAW processing may take more time than usual depending on operating conditions.
Two new editing filters
The new Clarity and Dehaze editing filters are included on Olympus Workspace. Clarity adjusts tones partially to enhance shadows and the texture of images. Dehaze makes images clearer that have become cloudy due to air quality or rays of light.

Automatic recording of editing detail on an image.
Olympus Workspace automatically records RAW processing and editing details such as adjustment of white balance or tone curve. It is simple to revert to original settings.
- If you apply the setting on the image, use Export.
Copy and paste editing details
You can copy and paste editing details onto selected images. Four settings are available to save with naming.
Batch processing

It is now possible to save RAW processing and editing details as a batch processing file, and then load and apply it to other images when editing. Batch processing files can also be set on export for applying in a batch to multiple files.

USB RAW Data Edit

Simply connect the OM-D E-M1 Mark II to a computer via USB cable to use the power of the high-performance TruePic VIII image processor in Olympus Workspace for faster RAW processing. RAW images saved on a computer, an SD card and when the OM-D E-M1 Mark II is connected to a computer can be edited in Olympus Workspace and processed quickly.

- Saved in JPEG format.
- When switching to USB RAW Data Edit, editing settings from the previous window are not carried over.
- USB RAW Data Edit is not available while connecting two cameras at the same time. Supported cameras are OM-D E-M1X (firmware version 1.1 upgrade available from June 2019) and OM-D E-M1 Mark II (firmware version 3.0 upgrade available from June 2019).

Focus Stacking has been added to utilise the multiple images shot in Focus Bracketing for generating a single image with a large depth of field. Up to 999 images can be composited.
- Only images shot on a lens that supports Focus Stacking can be composited.
- A Windows 64-bit OS is required.
- Images under 1600 pixels in width or height cannot be composited.

Lighten has also been added for compositing only the areas with changes in bright sections from multiple images. Darken is also available as an optional setting for compositing only the dark sections from images.

This new function allows you to create composite 16-bit TIFF or JPEG images from individual ORF or JPEG images. Additionally, all individual shots remain at-hand and can be used and deleted as required – creating a shot history.
The new Darkframe option helps to improve noise reduction and overall image quality and eliminates time restrictions when recording.
The Olympus Workspace with the latest version helps my creativity to come to life.
